Clean Water. Maximum Safety. Near-full flow rate.

The powerful filling filter for a variety of applications.

Clean water starts with filling. This specially designed water filter reduces pollutants and particles before they even enter the fresh water tank. This keeps the entire water system more protected, more hygienic, and more durable. The optionally integrated activated carbon combines mechanical filtration with effective adsorption. This reliably reduces both visible impurities and substances that impair taste and odor.

Highest filter performance

The Fillguard retains sand, rust, limescale flakes, pollen, and fine suspended solids. At the same time, the optional activated carbon filling reduces:

  • Chlorine
  • Pesticides
  • Light hydrocarbons
  • Solvents
  • Medicine residues
  • Organic compounds
  • Microplastics down to 10µm

The result is clearer, fresher-tasting water without bothersome odors.

High flow rate

The Fillguard ensures quick and safe tank filling. Despite integrated filter technology, the flow rate remains almost completely intact. The flow reduction is only around 10% compared to filling without an upstream filter.

Highly compatible

The Fillguard offers a powerful, compatible, and convenient solution for reliable tank filling in everyday camping life.

  • Food-grade materials (V4A stainless steel)
  • Optionally available stainless steel quick connectors suitable for common plug-in systems, such as Gardena
  • Secure and leak-proof connection due to high-quality adapter solutions

Sustainable professional quality with no follow-up costs

The robust V4A stainless steel housing offers maximum durability for permanent campers and frequent travelers – even in regions with unreliable water quality. The system is particularly economical: the filter cartridge is easily backwashable and thus permanently reusable. There are no costs for expensive replacement filters. Dimensionally stable, durable, and consistently designed for intensive mobile use.

FAQ

Is the Füllguard a drinking water filter?

Yes - it reliably filters out mechanical particles. Primarily designed as a high-performance pre-filter, it offers additional protection through the optional filling with activated carbon granules: it reduces chemical residues and organic impurities and noticeably improves the taste of your water.

How often do I need to change the filter cartridge?

Not at all – and that's the big advantage. The stainless steel filter cartridge integrated in the Füllguard is backwashable. If it gets dirty, simply clean it with clear water against the flow direction and reuse it permanently. There are no costs for expensive replacement cartridges.

How often do I need to clean the filter?

For maximum hygiene, we recommend backwashing after each filling process. Simply rinse the cartridge with clear water against the direction of flow. Then, simply allow the system to dry completely – ideally in our specially designed drying holder for optimal air circulation.

Scope of delivery

  • Filter housing with cover V4A and removable gasket
  • Stainless steel filter V4A 10 Micron
  • Stainless steel inner filter detachable V4A 40 Micron

Maintenance & Care for Lasting Hygiene

To ensure your Fillguard works reliably for years to come, we recommend the following simple steps:

  • Backwash cleaning: After use, simply reconnect the filter against the direction of the arrow on the housing. Let several liters of water flow through to flush out particles.
  • Drying: We recommend letting the filter cartridge dry completely after each use - ideally in our special drying holder.
  • Activated carbon replacement: If using optional activated carbon, it should be replaced regularly to prevent contamination.
  • Recommendation: Store the cartridge with used activated carbon in a dry place.
  • Replacement interval: After approx. 3–5 filling processes (of 100 liters each) or at least every 6 weeks.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide

  1. Optional Activated Carbon Filling: If required (e.g., with chlorinated water), unscrew the filter cartridge at the lower, flat end and fill with activated carbon (Activguard 120-2 or 360-6).
  2. Seal Check: Check the correct seating of the internal silicone seal to ensure a perfect seal.
  3. Insert Cartridge: Insert the filter cartridge carefully, straight, and without tilting into the housing cover.
  4. Fixation in the Cover: Push the filter insert firmly into the cover up to the stop before screwing the housing together.
  5. Close Housing: Carefully screw the cover and the housing together. The screwing should be smooth. Make sure the thread does not get cross-threaded.
  6. Tighten Hand-tight: Close the housing only hand-tight to protect the seals and facilitate later opening.
  7. Mount Adapters: Now connect the screw-on connectors at the ends.
  8. Check Flow Direction: When connecting, always observe the correct flow direction (see arrow symbol on the stainless steel housing).
  9. Commissioning: Now integrate the system into your water pipe or hose system.
